HOW IT'S MADE: TENCEL
TENCELTM fiber is used in a wide variety of products. At Hygge Cave, we use it in our best-selling TENCELTM sheets, as well as in our pillow covers, and high-end mattress protectors.
We choose TENCELTM over other fibers for many reasons. * 70% more absorbent than cotton * Softer than silk * Cooler than linen * Highest fiber strength among cellulose fibers * Vibrantly colored * Wrinkle Resistant * Incredibly soft * Hypoallergenic * Resists bacteria * Gets softer with multiple washes * List Item * Pill-resistant * Rounded fibers give a smooth feel * Great for sensitive skin * Warm in winter, cool in summer * No harsh chemicals used * Eco-friendly process * Protected brand: no imitations We take wood from sustainable forests, where rainwater is the main source of irrigation and no pesticides are used during the final years of growth. When trees are ready, they are pounded into chips, then made into pulp and sent to the factory. At the factory, only wood, pulp, and water are put in, and only water and TENCELTM fiber come out - almost 100% of the solvent is recycled and reused in a closed-loop process. The final result is a pure, white cellulosic fiber -TENCELTM . From there, TENCELTM can be blended with any other fiber to make them smooth, supple and strong. TENCELTM
has the highest fiber strength among all cellulose fibers, highest moisture absorption, and reduced bacterial growth. It’s more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen. With its cool feel and wrinkle-resistant beauty, you'll find it's perfect for bedding.
